Nick Yapp spent 27 years as a teacher (seven of them as a part-time writer)
before becoming a full-time writer and broadcaster in 1988. He has an MA in Child Development.

  > Live Performances In 1997, and every year from 1999 to 2003, he has written, presented and performed a programme of comedy and poetry on a variety of themes at the Ledbury Poetry Festival, The latest was a sell-out, full-length show at the Market Theatre - The Complete History of Poetry in 1 hour and 27 minutes.
